One-Step Cleaning for Coffee Brewers & Servers — Phosphate-Free with Blue Rinse Indicator
Tabz Z61 takes the complexity out of coffee brewer cleaning by doing two jobs at once. Simply place a tablet in the brew basket, run a cycle, and Tabz simultaneously cleans the brew basket and the server beneath it — no separate soaking, no scrubbing, no second step. The precision-pressed, super-concentrate 4g tablet is phosphate-free and features a built-in blue safety dye that remains visible until the equipment is fully rinsed, making it ideal for fast-paced commercial environments where a visual confirmation of cleanliness matters. Certified by both OMRI and NSF, Tabz is trusted in high-volume café and foodservice operations worldwide.
Features:
- One-Step Brewer & Server Cleaning — A single brew cycle with one tablet in the basket simultaneously cleans both the brew basket and the server below — no extra steps, no extra products
- Blue Safety Dye Rinse Indicator — The tablet's blue dye remains visible in solution until the equipment has been properly rinsed, providing a reliable visual cue for staff in busy service environments
- Super-Concentrate Formula — Each 4g tablet is highly concentrated for effective cleaning of commercial brewers and multi-vessel systems without the need for large amounts of powder or liquid
- Phosphate-Free — A cleaner choice for the environment and gentler on plumbing systems
- OMRI Listed & NSF Certified — Listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute for use in organic production, and NSF certified for safety and performance in food service environments
- Tablet Format Eliminates Operator Error — Pre-measured tablets remove the guesswork from dosing, eliminating waste and ensuring consistent results every time
- Cleans Multi-Vessel Server Systems — Tabz can also be placed directly into servers to clean systems with multiple vessels in one pass
- Spray Head Cleaning — The cleaning solution can also be used to wipe down spray heads for a more complete brewer clean
- Can Also Backflush Espresso Machines — Tabz tablets are versatile enough to be used for backflushing espresso machine group heads
- 120 Tablets Per Container — A high-count supply designed for the demands of commercial coffee operations
How to Use:
For Coffee Brewers & Servers:
- Dose — Place one Tabz tablet in the brew basket for every 64 oz (2 liters) of vessel capacity.
- Brew — Run a full brew cycle and allow the cleaning solution to fill the server. Hold and let it soak briefly.
- Discard — Discard the cleaning solution and remove any loose residue.
- Rinse — Rinse all parts thoroughly with clean water until no blue dye remains visible.
Pro Tip: Clean additional servers by placing one Tabz tablet per 64 oz (2L) of hot water directly in the server. The same solution can be used to wipe spray heads.

FAQ:
How does Tabz clean both the brewer and server at the same time? By placing a Tabz tablet in the brew basket and running a standard brew cycle, the dissolving tablet cleans the basket from the inside out as hot water passes through it, and the resulting cleaning solution flows directly into the server below — cleaning both vessels in a single pass without any additional steps.
What does the blue dye do? The blue safety dye provides a clear visual indicator that cleaning solution is still present. Once all parts have been thoroughly rinsed with clean water and the blue color is no longer visible, the equipment is ready to return to service. This is especially valuable in busy café environments where multiple staff members may be responsible for cleaning.
How many tablets do I use per cleaning cycle? Use one Tabz Z61 tablet for every 64 oz (2 liters) of vessel capacity. For a standard 64 oz brewer, use one tablet. Scale up proportionally for larger batch brewers.
Are Tabz tablets safe for organic coffee operations? Yes. Tabz Z61 is OMRI Listed, meaning it has been reviewed and approved by the Organic Materials Review Institute for use in certified organic production environments.
Can I use Tabz to clean my espresso machine? Yes. Tabz tablets can be used to backflush traditional espresso machine group heads. Place one tablet in the blind filter portafilter and follow your standard backflush cleaning routine.
Are Tabz tablets phosphate-free? Yes. Tabz Z61 is formulated without phosphates, making it a more environmentally responsible choice for commercial cleaning programs.
