Micallef Purple is the blender's joke that works. Mix Red and Blue, you get purple, so Micallef built it from both: the Mexican San Andrés Sumatra wrapper and fillers from Blue, the binder and remaining fillers from Red. The binder is Nicaraguan broadleaf, the filler a mix of Dominican, Mexican, and Nicaraguan leaf.
It lands medium-bodied and balanced, drawing the smooth cacao side from Blue and the spice from Red. Cedar, cocoa, earth, and a touch of pepper run through it. Of the series, it's the most layered without climbing in strength.
Debuted at PCA 2025 and built to the same standard as the rest of the line.
Offered in Robusto (5x52) and Toro (6x52), single or box of 25.
