Lunazul Reposado Tequila is a balanced and approachable expression that bridges the crisp purity of its Blanco foundation with the smooth warmth of gentle oak maturation. Elegant yet versatile, it offers rich agave character enriched by toasty vanilla, subtle spice, and soft caramel tones—making it an ideal everyday sipping tequila or a refined foundation for classic cocktails.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Produced in Jalisco, Mexico, the birthplace of authentic tequila, Lunazul Reposado begins with 100 % Blue Weber agave grown in mineral-rich soils where warm days and cool nights promote optimal ripeness and aromatic intensity. After slow roasting the harvested agave piñas to bring out natural sweetness, the mash is fermented and double-distilled to preserve clarity, purity, and character.
For this Reposado expression, the spirit is rested in American oak barrels for a period that softens the youthful edges of the distillate while allowing gentle wood influence to integrate. The oak imparts nuanced layers of vanilla, toasted grain, and light spice, harmonizing with the core agave essence without overwhelming it. The result is a tequila with depth, balance, and a rounded texture.
