Fathertime 'The Caboose' Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a limited, small-batch release created by comedian Jim Gaffigan and filmmaker Stu Pollard under the Fathertime Bourbon brand. Sourced from Kentucky and hand-selected in small batches, "The Caboose" represents the fifth edition in the Precious Batch lineup. Matured in heavy, new charred American oak barrels, it offers a rich and balanced profile with a harmonious play between oak, honey sweetness, and fruit.
Food Pairing: Barbecue, smoked or grilled meats, roasted pork, aged cheddar cheese, pecans, dark chocolate, or caramel-based desserts.
Tasting Notes : A rich, warm Kentucky straight bourbon displaying a warm golden-amber appearance with a balanced, sweet, and smooth mouthfeel.
Nose : Inviting aromas of rich aged honey, delicate tea blossom, vanilla, and caramel.
Palate : Sweet and well-balanced with notes of oak, cherry, quince crumble, and burnt caramel.
Finish : Pleasantly powerful and lingering with notes of honeysuckle and sweet tea.
Serve : Enjoy neat, over a large ice cube, with a small splash of water, or in classic bourbon cocktails.
