Barton & Guestier Legacy Blend Médoc 2022 750ml is an AOC Médoc red created to mark the Bordeaux wine house’s heritage dating to 1725. This 2022 vintage is a balanced blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards on the left bank of the Gironde estuary. The authenticated exact supplier item confirms the 750ml bottle and 14% ABV / 28 proof. For vinification, 60% of the harvest was thermovinified before stainless-steel fermentation, gentle aerated pump-overs, and a 21–22 day maceration. The wine was then aged in vats in contact with oak.
In the glass, the producer describes a deep, intense purple-red color and a ripe aroma profile led by black fruit, toasted notes, and cocoa powder. The palate opens with power and develops a full-bodied, opulent shape, supported by rich yet elegant tannins and a long, pleasant finish. Barton & Guestier identifies this Legacy Blend as a Franco-American project crafted for the U.S. market from Médoc vineyards. Serve between 61°F and 65°F with red meat in sauce, roasted veal, a vegan burger, or mature cheeses.
